How to fit door hinges

All hinges should be fitted using the following method:

2 hinges at the top of the door.

The first 150mm from the top of the door and the second 150mm below the top hinge.

The bottom hinge should be fitted approximately 225mm from the bottom of the door.

The hinge that is traditionally fitted in the middle of the door was fitted solely to stop the door from bowing. If you feel that the door is likely to bow (external wooden doors are the most likely to do this) a fourth hinge should be fitted in the middle of the door.
